Clear Daily Dispatch

Editorial policy

Clear Daily Dispatch aims for careful, legible explanations of how information is presented and supported. We distinguish description from interpretation and make uncertainty visible when it affects the reader's understanding.

Accuracy and context

We check names, quotations, dates and other factual details against suitable source material before publication. We seek enough context to represent a claim fairly, distinguish a source's statement from our analysis and avoid implying more certainty than the available material supports.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for the reader's understanding, not to serve a partner or advertiser. Any relationship that could reasonably affect how material is read will be disclosed where relevant. Payment or a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage.

Corrections

If a published item contains a factual error or a meaningful omission, we review the concern and correct the item when warranted. Significant changes will be identified in the article so readers can see what changed; minor edits for spelling or clarity may be made without a separate notice.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, commissioned or otherwise partner-supported material will be clearly labelled near its presentation. Partner placements will not be presented as independent editorial recommendations. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when they are, that fact will be stated with the illustration or in its caption.
